As a Transport Driver, you will be responsible for transporting commercial vehicles safely and efficiently. The majority of vehicles handled require a Class 3 licence with air brake endorsement, and experience with commercial and heavy-duty vehicles is essential. You will play a key role in ensuring vehicles are delivered on time and in excellent condition.
Key Responsibilities
Vehicle Transport & Operations
Transport commercial vehicles to and from customers and vendors.
Operate vehicles that require a Class 3 licence with air brakes, including medium-duty and commercial trucks.
Secure vehicles properly and follow all applicable transportation regulations.
Safety & Compliance
Adhere to all provincial and federal transportation laws and safety standards.
Report any mechanical concerns, damages, or safety issues promptly.
Maintain accurate transport and delivery documentation.
Dealership Support
Assist with vehicle staging, parking, and organization on the lot when required.
Communicate clearly with dispatch,
sales, and service teams regarding delivery schedules.
Represent Abenante Motor Group professionally when interacting with customers and partners.
Requirements
Licensing & Certification
Valid Class 3 driver’s licence (required).
Air Brake Endorsement (required).
Clean driving record and robust safety history (driver abstract required).
Experience
Experience driving commercial vehicles is required.
Familiarity with medium-duty trucks, diesel vehicles, and fleet units is a strong asset.
Experience transporting commercial or work vehicles preferred.
