Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled full time Journeyperson Electrician to join our team for projects in the Lac La Biche and surrounding area. The ideal candidate will have expertise in various electrical systems and equipment, possessing the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Projects include-
Commercial shops with office space.
Retail/restaurant new construction and renovations.
Residential recent construction and renovations.
Commercial led upgrades.
Custom led lighting.
DMX lighting controls.
Large scale and private campgrounds.
Public parks.
Ground mount solar systems.
Agricultural grain dryers.
Lot line metering.
Service work.

At Axis Electric Ltd. we offer a wide variety of services so its not often that we have 2 work weeks in a row with the same scope of work. Successful candidate will be assigned a company vehicle and cell phone.

Responsibilities
Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial, residential, institutional and agricultural settings
Over see other employees and apprentices on projects
Material take offs
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams
Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues
Utilize power tools and hand tools to complete electrical projects




Collaborate with other team members on large-scale projects
Adhere to safety protocols and industry regulations at all times

Requirements
Proficiency in low voltage systems and industrial electrical work
Current experience in commercial, residential and institutional settings
Able to trouble shoot hvac controls
Experience with blueprint reading and interpreting technical documents
Strong knowledge of building codes and regulations
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Experience with equipment operating would be considered as an asset.
Tickets (CSTS, First Aid, Aerial Lift and Platform, Fall Arrest)

Job Types: Full time, Permanent

Pay: $45.00-$48.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 – 55.0 per week
