JOB DESCRIPTION
Manage and take full responsibility for the tender and construction process and improve prospects to increase anticipated revenue by proposing alternate materials and or systems when applicable
Develop positive relationships with clients, consultants and subcontractors
Accurately and independently review and interpret the plans and specifications
Capitalize on any changes to the contract
Develop and prepare detailed quotation for extras and changes to the contract in a timely manner
Explain the project in detail to the subcontractors and work with them to deliver competitive pricing
Analyzed bid proposals from sub trades
Issue purchase orders for materials and subcontractors
Formulate project schedules and budgets throughout the project, updating weekly as required
Attend all project site meeting, record minutes and distribute when required
Review/approve shop drawings submitted to clients
Complete and update all project submittals as per specifications
Manage project close out documents

Qualifications




Post-secondary education in Construction Management or a related field, or equivalent experience.
3 + year’s experience working in a construction coordination/project management role.
Comprehensive understanding of construction drawings, specifications and documentation.
Exceptional work ethic & excellent oral and written communication skills.
Strong organizational skills including planning and prioritizing.
Effective customer service skills.
Ability to work in a collaborative team setting.
Comfortable in a pressurized, time-sensitive setting.
Experience running multiple projects simultaneously.
Excellent computer skills using Microsoft Office products: MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and MS Project
Must be a team player
Willing to learn, training will be provided to the right candidate

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $45,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
