Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Roofer to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining roofing systems on residential and commercial buildings. This role requires a strong understanding of roofing materials, safety protocols, and construction techniques to ensure high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
Install current roofing systems using various materials such as shingles, metal, or flat roofing membranes
Repair and replace damaged or aging roofs efficiently and safely
Measure and cut roofing materials accurately according to project specifications
Use hand tools and power tools to secure roofing components in place
Perform caulking around roof penetrations to prevent leaks
Assist with heavy lifting of roofing materials and equipment to ensure safety and efficiency
Maintain a clean work site by organizing tools and disposing of debris properly
Follow all safety guidelines and protocols to prevent accidents in office
Requirements
Proven experience in roofing, construction, carpentry, or handyman work is preferred
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and effectively
Robust knowledge of construction safety standards and practices
Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
Physical stamina to work outdoors in various weather conditions for extended periods
Working at Heights Certificate
Valid driver’s license is a plus for transportation to job sites
