Duties
Supervise and engage with dogs during playtime, ensuring a fun and safe environment for all pets
Monitor pet behavior closely, intervening when necessary to prevent conflicts or injuries
Cleaning kennels, play areas, and feeding stations to maintain a hygienic space
Provide excellent customer service by addressing pet owners’ questions and updating them on their pets’ activities
Handle physical tasks such as heavy lifting when moving supplies or cleaning equipment
Follow safety protocols diligently to ensure the well-being of pets, staff, and visitors
Maintain accurate records of pet check-ins,
check-outs, and any notable behaviors or concerns
Qualifications
Prior experience in customer service or animal care is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for working with animals is essential
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and comfortably as part of daily duties
Strong communication skills to interact effectively with pet owners and team members
Dependable, energetic, and able to stay alert during busy periods
Willingness to follow safety procedures meticulously to ensure a secure environment for all pets and staff
Must have reliable transportation as we are not on a bus route
Open availability including weekends and holidays
