Position Summary

The successful candidate will be a Journeyman Electrician or indentured Apprentice Electrician with relevant industrial, and/or solar panel installation experience. This person must have a continual focus on safety, cost control and client satisfaction when performing the duties of this position, as well as have a history of producing quality work with attention to detail in order to meet and exceed client needs.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Installations of Electrical equipment for all types of industry applications
Troubleshoot Electrical equipment for all types of industry applications
Ensure work is carried out with proper protected work practices
Work with Foreman/Lead Hand to resolve issues with electrical installations
Interpret and work from electrical drawings, schematics, wiring diagrams

Specific Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required
Journeyman Electrician or indentured Apprentice Electrician, Red Seal Qualification is preferred
Experience working in an industrial or natural energy workplace is preferred
Good knowledge of and ability to interpret the Canadian Electric Code an asset
Ability to read electrical schematics, diagrams, and blueprints
Microsoft 365 / Office skills required
Diligent with Safety requirements and programs




Experience with QAQC paperwork and material management preferred
Exceptional communication skills

Special Conditions of Employment
This position may require travel within Western Canada

Must be a team player & work closely with maintenance, production, engineering and outside services
Must have a adaptable work schedule – shift work, overtime and weekends and schedule changes are routine and required aspects of the position
Must be able to climb ladders

Physical Demands
Must be able to work at heights and handle 35lb load minimum
