We are currently recruiting for a Personal Support Worker for vacation coverage to help assist a Female employer with Cerebral Palsy and a Speech impediment with all activities of daily living.

Location:
Vancouver, BC (Near Still Creek Watershed Pedestrian Bridge )

Shifts and hours:
Vacation coverage needed for: October 28, 29, 30 and 31, 2026
Wednesday to Saturday: approximately 11:00 a.m. – 7:00 or 8:00 p.m.
Ongoing Respite Shifts as needed for:
Monday and Tuesday: 5:00pm to 10:00pm
Candidates should be available for these shifts
Casual Back up shifts may become available for the following shifts:
11:00am to 2:00pm or 11:00am to 7 or 8:00pm

Compensation:
$25.00 an hour

Responsibilities will include (but may not be limited to):
Daily personal care such as showering, and toileting
Light housekeeping
Meal preparation
Transfers
Range of motion exercises/light massage
Assistance on outings

Required Qualifications:




Willing to use communication assistive tech as needed
Willingness to seek out tasks
Willing to engage in conversation with the employer
Caregiving experience
comfortable working around dogs
Ability to speak Russian, or Ukrainian strongly preferred

Pay: $25.00 per hour
