About the Role: We are a busy dental practice in Victoria, BC, seeking a Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) to join our team. This is a full time permanent position, 40 hours per week over 5 days, including Saturdays. You will work chair-side with our dentists to deliver effective, high-quality patient care in a qualified and welcoming environment.

Responsibilities
Provide chair-side assistance during examinations, restorative procedures, extractions, and other dental treatments
Take and process dental radiographs (intraoral and extraoral)
Perform coronal polishing and apply pit and fissure sealants
Take alginate impressions
Place and remove rubber dams, matrices, and wedges
Prepare, sterilize, and maintain instruments and operatories per IPAC protocols
Document patient records accurately using dental practice management software




Assist with patient education on oral hygiene and post-treatment care
Support front desk functions as needed, including scheduling and patient communication

Required Qualifications
Current registration with the College of Dental Surgeons of BC (CDSBC) as a Certified Dental Assistant
NDAEB certification (National Dental Assisting Examining Board)
Completion of an accredited dental assisting program
Valid CPR certification (Level C or HCP)
Knowledge of BC IPAC standards and WorkSafeBC requirements
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
