We are seeking a reliable and qualified Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting goods to various locations, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining excellent customer service. Duties
Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport freight and packages to designated destinations
Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment such as forklifts or heavy equipment when necessary
Ensure all deliveries are completed accurately and on schedule
Conduct routine vehicle inspections and perform basic maintenance or repairs as needed
Maintain proper documentation of deliveries, including receipts and delivery logs
Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations during transportation
Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers to coordinate delivery schedules
Assist with warehouse operations, including freight handling and inventory management when required
Skills
Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL)
preferred; a standard driver’s license is required with a clean driving record
Experience operating forklifts, heavy equipment, or other industrial machinery is a plus
Knowledge of freight handling procedures and safety protocols
Basic automotive repair skills are advantageous for vehicle troubleshooting and minor repairs
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time efficiently
Excellent communication skills for interacting with customers and team members
Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently when necessary
Prior experience in commercial driving or logistics is preferred but not mandatory
