Commencement Date: September 15 2026– June 18, 2027
The Head Teacher will act as Teacher-In-Charge as needed for Principal Absences. This position will also be provided with 10 days (pending availability of TOC's) for leadership work approved by the school principal.
Please submit the leadership plan as part of this application This position is open to full time 1.0 FTE teachers only.
Position of Special Responsibility see Protocol #51 – Head Teacher/Teacher-In-Charge.
Please Note: A teacher who has already accepted a position of special responsibility for this school year will only be eligible for 1 extra $1400.00 and 3 Pro-d days.
Qualification: 1. Successful Classroom teaching experience.
Knowledge of and willingness to use,
current best practices in education.
A leadership plan approved by the principal.
Familiarity with IRP's.
A robust team orientation.
Excellent planning and organization skills.
A desire to grow professionally.
Clear Criminal Record Check.
