A warehouse employee, also known as a material handler, is in charge of offloading, or loading different types of commodities, either manually or with the use of automation. You may also be required to drive a forklift or other types of equipment to unload particularly heavy objects. You will be responsible for unloading and Loading Trailers.
Warehouse Worker duties and responsibilities-
Operate fork lift, winch, or vehicles
Material loading and unloading
Make a list of all delivered or received materials and keep them in storage or open them up for inspection.
Complete warehouse orders.
Get rid of any cardboard, pallets, or wooden crates that are still in use as packing materials.
Warehouse Worker skills and qualifications-
Outstanding organizational abilities, with knowledge of inventory.
knowledge of the equipment and technologies used to store or convey goods.
Understanding the precautions for public safety and security to avoid injury.
knowledge of protected disposal practices for hazardous waste materials
The Ability to cooperate with others.
Warehouse Worker experience requirements-
Prior Experience in operating Forklift will be a Bonus.
Experience is not necessarily required for the Warehouse Worker position because many of their duties can be learned on the job.
