Here at Dutchie Dirt-Moving we are looking to add a motivated, hard working individual to join our crew.
Dutchie Dirt-Moving Ltd. is an excavation and gravel company that primarily serves the agriculture sector in Southern Alberta. We also work together closely with our sister company, Treadstone Machinery, which offers a variety of quality brand name machinery. We are a family-owned business that prides itself in serving our customers and providing superior service. Our shop is located near the town of Turin which is 35 minutes north of Lethbridge.
Our ideal candidate will have solid attention to detail, excellent communication, and a focus on safety. It is equally significant that they be willing and able to learn recent skills and knowledge. There is a possibility to advance within the company after demonstrating a robust work ethic and mechanical aptitude.
Job inclusions and requirements:
-General labour as required at the shop and where required on offsite work crews.
-Assist in keeping the work area clean.
-Able to work independently and with others.
-Accurately complete service reports and provide the details to complete work orders.
-Capable of troubleshooting and solving problems independently and as part of a team.
-Willing to participate in company safety initiatives and policy.
-Reliable and punctual, as well as, dedicated and trustworthy.
-Must have the ability to reliably commute to the shop located near Turin AB.
-Strong attention to detail, quality, accuracy and safety.
-Adaptive learner with a positive attitude.
-Will be required to use repetitive motion, reach, lift, kneel, walk, and stand for several hours at a time.
-Able to tow a trailer and secure loads.
Job Type: Full time and overtime as required (no Sundays).
Wage per hour depends on your experience.
Benefit package available after 3 months.
