Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Pharmacy Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications to patients, ensuring productive pharmacy operations.
Responsibilities
Support pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications accurately
Maintain pharmacy inventory by checking pharmaceutical stock to determine inventory level, anticipating needed medications and supplies, placing and expediting orders
Assist in the management of patient records and insurance claims
Provide excellent patient care by answering inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction
Adhere to all relevant legal regulations and pharmacy policies
Experience
Prior experience in filling prescriptions in Kroll Rx is preferred.
Knowledge of medical terminology and medication administration is a plus
Certification as a Pharmacy Technician is not required
