We are seeking a motivated and dependable Casual Cleaner to join our agile facilities team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene across various commercial spaces, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for staff and visitors alike. Responsibilities
Perform thorough cleaning of offices, restrooms, common areas, and other designated spaces using appropriate cleaning equipment and supplies
Maintain high standards of cleanliness by dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and disinfecting surfaces regularly
Ensure waste disposal is handled efficiently and bins are emptied frequently to promote hygiene
Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap, toilet paper, and other essentials as needed
Follow health and safety protocols to prevent accidents or contamination during cleaning procedures
Conduct routine inspections to identify areas requiring additional attention or maintenance needs
Collaborate with team members to complete cleaning schedules efficiently and address urgent cleaning requests promptly
Experience
Previous experience in commercial cleaning or facilities maintenance is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate
Knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment operation, and safety procedures is advantageous
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining a high level of quality in your work
Solid attention to detail and organizational skills to ensure all areas are cleaned thoroughly
Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
