We are seeking a Red Seal Automotive Technician to join our team based out of Acheson, AB.

Ideal candidate should posses:
Red seal certificate
Experience in diagnosis and trouble shooting
Diesel & Gas engine experience
Ability to work in a quick-paced environment
Experience in a repair shop atmosphere
Ability to work well with other mechanics and perform without supervision
Equipment experience (hoists, tire changers, balancers and alignment machines)
CVIP License
Experience with heavy duty mechanics
Knowledge in tuning, customizing, aftermarket parts
Flexibility

Responsibilities & Duties:
Performing quality repairs and preventative maintenance services on light/medium duty trucks and commercial vehicles
Ensure repairs are carried out according to manufacturer’s procedures and in a safe and responsible manner




Interpreting work orders and technical manuals
Assist in fault diagnosis and troubleshooting mechanical and electrical failures
Ensure service documentation is completed as per instructions
Complete inspections on equipment and co-ordinate with staff on repairs
Training and/or assisting other technicians or apprentices with their work
Assist in shop cleanup and housekeeping
Perform out of province and AMVIC Inspections
Perform Commercial Vehicle Inspections
General customer service

Job Type: Full time

Pay: $35.00-$40.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
