Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable, skilled, and customer-focused Security Guard to provide security services at Meadowfair Shopping Centre in Abbotsford, BC.

The successful candidate will help maintain a safe and welcoming environment for customers, tenants, employees, and visitors while protecting the property and responding appropriately to security incidents.

Key Responsibilities
Conduct regular patrols of the shopping center, parking areas, and surrounding property.
Monitor for theft, vandalism, trespassing, suspicious activity, and other security concerns.
Respond promptly and professionally to incidents and emergencies.
Assist customers, tenants, and visitors when required.
Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas.
Complete accurate daily occurrence reports and incident reports.
Maintain a visible security presence throughout the property.
Liaise with property management, tenants, emergency services, and police when necessary.
Follow all company policies, site procedures, and applicable laws.




Perform other security-related duties as required.

Requirements
Valid BC Security Worker Licence.
Previous security experience is required.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Professional appearance and positive attitude.
Ability to remain calm and professional in difficult situations.
Good observation and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Reliable attendance and punctuality.
