As a Baggage Handler/Ramp Operator, you will work with an creative team whose common goal is to ensure that our customers' baggage and cargo arrives safely and on time to drive a positive customer experience. Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:
Safely lift, load, unload, and transport baggage, mail, and cargo to and from aircraft
Responsible for on-time connections by guiding incoming and departing aircrafts from the gate positions
Safeguard cargo, baggage and mail from damage, loss, and weather
Safely drive and operate ground equipment such as tugs, belt loaders, and tow tractors in areas of congestion
Repeatedly lift and load baggage onto carts and ensure each bag reaches its destination
Operate baggage scanners and computers to ensure baggage and cargo are routed correctly to the passenger's destination




Practices safety conscious behaviors in all operational processes and procedures

What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications)
Have a high school diploma or GED/CAEC equivalent
Consistently makes safety and security, of self and others, the priority
Embraces a diverse set of people, thinking, and styles
Be at least 18 years of age
Frequently lift bags or items weighing up to and including 80 pounds
Be authorized to live and work in the country you are applying to
Possess entry-level computer skills
Robust verbal and written communication skills using appropriate grammar, tone, and pronunciation
Be willing to work a fixed and/or rotating schedule including afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays
Must be fluent, both written and orally, in English
Must be fluent, both written and orally, in French (if the position is in YUL)
Must currently hold a valid Canadian driver’s license

What will give you a competitive edge (preferred qualifications)
Possession of a valid Canada RAIC and D/A license
Airport ramp agent and general airport operations experience.
Knowledge of relevant airport technology.
