A valuable Class 1 driver is more than someone who can move a load. It's someone who runs a clean, safe truck, keeps their pre and post trips tight, and gets the job done right. We care about that, and we're looking to add a driver who does too.
What You'll Be Doing:
Hauling gravel and materials with a gravel truck and pup
Loading trucks with precision using our heavy equipment
Running thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections and keeping your truck road-ready
Performing regular preventative maintenance on your equipment
Working safely and following all traffic and health and safety regulations
In the winter, snow hauling and running various equipment, which shifts to on-call work
What We're Looking For:
Valid Class 1 licence with a clean driving abstract
Real experience hauling gravel trucks and pup trailers
Advanced skill operating skid steers, excavators, and loaders
Previous experience tying down and mobilizing heavy machinery
Physically fit and able to lift up to 50 lbs
Available for on-call snow and ice work through the winter months
A robust work ethic and the ability to work on your own or with the crew
Sound judgment and quick problem-solving on the road and on site
Comfortable using a smartphone or tablet for daily reporting and communication
Solid communication and a professional attitude
