Duties
Safely operate commercial trucks to transport goods to designated locations, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure optimal performance and safety
Load and unload cargo, utilizing proper lifting techniques to handle heavy items efficiently and safely
Plan routes effectively to optimize delivery times and fuel efficiency
Maintain accurate delivery logs, shipment documentation, and vehicle maintenance records
Communicate proactively with dispatchers and clients to coordinate deliveries and resolve any issues promptly




Follow all safety protocols, including proper securing of cargo and adherence to hours-of-service regulations

Skills
Proven experience in driving large commercial vehicles with a clean driving record
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during loading and unloading processes
Solid knowledge of traffic laws, safety standards, and route planning strategies
Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and clients
Physical stamina to handle long hours on the road and perform manual tasks as needed
Attention to detail in completing logs, reports, and safety checks

Commercial driving: 3 years (preferred)
