Job Summary:

The Produce Clerk is responsible for maintaining the quality and presentation of fresh produce in the store. This includes receiving and stocking produce, ensuring displays are attractive and well-stocked, and providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities:
Receive and stock produce shipments
Maintain clean and well-organized produce displays
Ensure produce quality and rotate stock to prevent spoilage
Provide excellent customer service and respond to customer inquiries
Assist customers with produce selection and answer questions
Maintain accurate inventory levels and report any discrepancies
Follow company standards for produce display and merchandising

Requirements:
Ability to lift and handle produce, and stand for long periods




Basic knowledge of produce and ability to identify different types
Excellent customer service skills
Ability to work in a rapid-paced environment and prioritize tasks
Physical stamina to handle demands of the job

Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience in a grocery store or produce environment
Knowledge of produce handling and storage procedures
