We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Massage Therapist to join our wellness team. Responsibilities
Conduct thorough assessments of clients’ physical conditions and needs through effective communication and observation.
Perform various types of massage techniques including Swedish, deep tissue, sports, and therapeutic massages.
Maintain accurate client records, documenting treatment plans and progress while adhering to confidentiality standards.
Educate clients on the advantages of massage therapy and provide recommendations for follow-up care or additional treatments.
Ensure a clean, protected, and inviting treatment space by following hygiene protocols and maintaining equipment.
Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns in a professional manner.
Stay updated on industry trends, techniques, and best practices to enhance service offerings.
Qualifications
Valid state license or certification in massage therapy is required.
Knowledge of medical terminology is preferred to effectively communicate with clients about their health conditions.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and create a positive experience.
Excellent communication skills to clearly explain procedures and address client needs effectively.
Previous experience in a spa or wellness setting is a plus but not mandatory; we welcome enthusiastic candidates eager to learn.
