Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Commercial Electrical Estimator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing accurate and comprehensive electrical project estimates for commercial construction projects. Your expertise will help drive successful project bids, ensuring profitability and client satisfaction. Responsibilities
Review project plans, specifications, and scope of work to develop precise electrical estimates.
Utilize estimating software such as HeavyBid, Accubid and Bluebeam to prepare detailed cost proposals.
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, suppliers and clients to clarify project requirements and negotiate pricing terms.
Analyze labor, material, equipment costs, and subcontractor quotes to ensure competitive yet profitable bids.
Manage multiple estimates simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines.
Assist in the development of project budgets and schedules to support project management efforts.




Conduct site visits when necessary to gather on-site data and verify existing conditions for accurate pricing.

Experience
Proven experience in construction estimating with a focus on electrical systems within commercial projects.
Strong knowledge of construction processes, electrical codes, and industry standards.
Proficiency in estimating software such as HeavyBid; experience with Bluebeam is highly desirable.
Excellent negotiation skills to secure favorable terms with suppliers and subcontractors.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
Construction experience that provides a solid understanding of project management principles related to electrical work.
Familiarity with pricing strategies, bid preparation, and contract documentation.

Pay: $42,568.70-$114,779.96 per year
