George Restaurant is looking for a Food Runner who wants to learn what exceptional fine dining looks like from the inside.
Our Food Runners are an essential part of the service team. They help connect the kitchen and dining room and play an significant role in maintaining the pace, accuracy and standards of every service.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with hospitality experience—or someone early in their career—who is reliable, hardworking, attentive and eager to develop within fine dining.

Professional in appearance and conduct
Available for evenings and weekends
Smart Serve certified or willing to obtain certification
Previous restaurant or hospitality experience is an asset.
Responsibilities
Deliver food accurately and efficiently from the kitchen to the dining room
Confirm table numbers and dish accuracy before delivery
Communicate with servers and management throughout service
Support servers and the broader FOH team
Assist with clearing and resetting tables
Maintain cleanliness and organization of service areas
Communicate allergies, modifications and special requests accurately
Assist with service preparation and breakdown
Support the team during high-volume periods
Maintain awareness of guests and the dining room at all times
Follow George's service standards and direction from management
