Local glass company in the lower mainland looking for Experienced Glass Glaziers & Glass Technicians with experience manufacturing & servicing glass. Please do not apply if you do not have glazing or glass technician experience.
Compensation will vary depending on experience.
Your schedule from day to day will vary depending on duties and emergencies. You will start your days at the warehouse/office and move to jobsites from there.
Your duties include:
Measuring glass
Cutting, making glass units & ordering glass
Servicing residential & commercial windows/glass/doors
Responding to emergency calls & after-hours calls
Plywood or temporary glass board-up services
Travelling to jobsites
Logging information in detailed reports
Emergency plywood board-ups & glass patches
Glass clean-up
Calling customers with updates
Managing warehouse and inventory
Cleaning warehouse
Report to management & scheduler regarding issues
Operating a van (driving to and from jobsites)
Using hand-tools
Moving heavy objects or holding heavy objects in place
Utilizing ladders, lifts and scaffolding
Communicating with scheduler and other glass technicians
We will require a valid driver's license and clean driving record.
We are looking for experienced glaziers and glass technicians. Please do not apply if you have no experience.
