Position Details:
Job Type: Permanent, part-time
Schedule: Monday to Friday; 3–8 hour shifts
Start Date: As soon as possible

Key Responsibilities:
Assist Registered Early Childhood Educators (RECEs) in caring for and supervising children from infants (12 - 18 months of age), toddlers (18 months - 2.5 years), to preschool (2.5 - 4 years)
Maintain a clean, protected, and welcoming classroom environment
Ensure compliance with the Ministry of Education and Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit regulations
Support children’s daily routines, activities, and outdoor play
Greet and communicate positively with children, guardians, and staff




Complete daily documentation and reports as required
Attend quarterly staff meetings and professional development sessions
Participate in centre-wide special events

Qualifications:
Minimum 18 years of age
At least 1 year of experience with young children aged 6 months to 4 years, or currently enrolled in a related university/college program
Up-to-date immunizations (Tetanus and MMR required)
Reliable transportation and availability to be on call on certain days
