Duties
Operate loader and forklift to load, unload and reload materials within our site efficiently and safely
Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on heavy machinery to ensure optimal performance and safety standards
Assist with material placement using heavy equipment
Collaborate with team members to coordinate the movement of materials and ensure project timelines are met
Follow all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a secure work environment for yourself and others
Maintain accurate records of equipment usage, inspections,
and maintenance activities
Requirements
Proven experience operating loaders, HD forklift, and other heavy machinery in a construction setting
Mechanical knowledge of heavy equipment maintenance and troubleshooting
Valid driver’s license (CDL)
Strong understanding of staging
Knowledge of Caterpillar equipment operation is highly desirable
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions with physical stamina for extended periods
Prior experience with heavy equipment safety standards and protocols is essential
