Bay Ferries Limited is currently recruiting GP Stewards for casual positions working on MV Fundy Rose, a year-round ferry service across the Bay of Fundy between Digby, Nova Scotia and Saint John, Recent Brunswick.

This is a casual, unlicensed position and may lead to a full-time position.

Description of role:

Stewards ensure the safety and comfort of our passengers while onboard and undertake cleaning of the public areas, washroom and crew areas of the vessel. They assist with embarkation and disembarkation of passengers, and engage with customers to provide information, assistance and overall qualified, friendly customer service. Stewards may also be required to perform other General-Purpose duties, such as Deckhand.

Valid Seafarers Marine Medical
STCW's 6.1, 6.2

Desired qualifications:
Experience in the passenger ship industry.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proven track record of safe operations.
Demonstrate a commitment to maintaining a just-cause safety culture.
Robust verbal and written communications skills.
