Responsibilities
Conduct skilled swim lessons tailored to each student’s age, ability, and learning objectives
Demonstrate proper swimming techniques and water safety skills with clarity and patience
Monitor students closely during lessons to ensure safety and provide immediate assistance if needed
Create a positive, encouraging atmosphere that motivates learners to progress confidently
Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and skill assessments
Enforce pool safety rules and emergency procedures consistently to uphold a secure environment
Collaborate with team members to develop lesson plans and improve instructional methods
Skills
Proven experience in teaching swimming or related water instruction roles
Strong swimming skills with the ability to demonstrate techniques confidently
Excellent communication skills to connect with learners of diverse ages and backgrounds
Ability to remain calm and composed in emergency situations while providing clear guidance
Passion for teaching, water safety, and fostering a fun learning environment
Knowledge of pool safety regulations and first aid procedures is a plus
Requirements:
National Lifeguard Certification
Swim Instructor Certification
Standard First Aid with CPR-C
Minimum 1 year of experience working as a main/lead swim instructor.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
