CAP Building Systems is looking for a reliable and hardworking Temporary Production Associate to join our team.

The successful candidate will work in a hands-on manufacturing setting and assist with various production activities, with a primary focus on building wooden shipping crates and packaging materials for finished products.

Responsibilities
Build wooden crates and shipping containers according to specifications
Measure, cut, and assemble lumber and other materials
Use hand and power tools safely and effectively
Assist with general production and shop-floor activities
Ensure completed crates meet quality and safety requirements
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Follow all company health and safety policies and procedures
Work efficiently to meet production schedules

Qualifications
Previous experience building wooden crates is required
Experience using hand and power tools




Ability to accurately measure and cut materials
Good attention to detail
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong work ethic and reliable attendance
Ability to perform physically demanding work and lift materials as required
Manufacturing, construction, woodworking, or packaging experience is an asset

Schedule

Full-Time, Monday to Friday

This is a temporary position with the potential for additional opportunities based on business needs and performance.
