Role Responsibilities
Evaluates electrical systems, products, components, and applications by designing and conducting research programs
Confirms system’s and components’ capabilities by designing testing methods
Develop electrical products by studying customer requirements through research and development
Develops manufacturing processes by designing and modifying equipment for building and assembling electrical components
Ensures product quality by designing electrical testing methods; testing finished products and system capabilities.
Prepares product reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
Provides engineering information by answering questions and requests.
Maintains product and company reputation by complying with Government regulations.




Keeps equipment operational by following manufacturer’s instructions and established procedures.
Maintains skilled and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing skilled publications; establishing personal networks; participating in qualified societies.
Apply all necessary safety measures in product design.
Work with Engineering Leader on customer design reviews and scope of work.
Programming of Automation devices such as, PLC, HMI, Robot, Vision Drive and other devices as needed.
Mentor and assist Junior and Intermediate Controls Technologist.
