We are seeking a skilled and reliable Equipment Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in operating various types of heavy machinery and a strong understanding of mechanical systems. This role is crucial for ensuring the efficient and safe operation of equipment in office, contributing to the successful completion of projects.
Responsibilities
Operate heavy equipment such as loaders, backhoes, cranes, and bulldozers to perform various tasks including digging, lifting, and moving materials.
Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance.
Collaborate with team members to execute project plans effectively while adhering to safety regulations.
Maintain accurate records of equipment usage and report any malfunctions or issues promptly.
Assist in training new operators on safe equipment operation practices.
Follow all company policies and procedures regarding safety and operational protocols.
Requirements
Proven experience in heavy equipment operation,
particularly with loaders, backhoes, cranes, and bulldozers.
Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot minor issues with machinery.
Valid commercial driving license is preferred but not mandatory.
Familiarity with Caterpillar machinery and farm machinery is a plus.
Ability to work in various weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
