Construction Litigation Associate
to its growing team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a litigation lawyer with
3–5 years of experience
who is looking to further develop their practice at a highly regarded firm while working on sophisticated construction disputes and complex commercial matters.
The Role The successful candidate will work with experienced practitioners on a broad range of construction and infrastructure disputes, including complex contractual claims, delay and disruption matters, deficiency claims, lien proceedings and other disputes arising from major construction projects.
The role will provide significant exposure to sophisticated files and clients, along with opportunities to take on increasing responsibility and develop robust advocacy and client-management skills.
The Ideal Candidate The successful candidate will have:
3–5 years of litigation experience gained at a reputable law firm;
Experience in construction litigation and/or complex commercial litigation;
Strong written and oral advocacy skills;
Excellent analytical, drafting and organizational abilities;
The ability to manage files and competing priorities effectively;
A strong academic and professional record; and
Membership in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario.
