Affinity is seeking a highly experienced Senior Technical Project Manager to lead complex, enterprise-scale technology initiatives within a strategic Project Management Office. This role is ideal for a mature, technically adept leader with a robust background in infrastructure and security-focused project delivery. You will play a critical role in a multi-year, organization-wide transformation to modernize the wealth management platform, replacing a legacy system with a next-generation ecosystem.

This role is ideal for a mature, technically adept leader with a strong background in infrastructure and security-focused project delivery. You will play a critical role in a multi-year, organization-wide transformation to modernize the wealth management platform, replacing a legacy system with a next-generation ecosystem. This initiative represents a generational shift in how advisors, operations teams, and clients engage with technology—requiring deep expertise in integrations, enterprise architecture, and change leadership.

Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end delivery of large-scale, high-impact enterprise technology programs, with a strong focus on infrastructure, security, and platform integration

Drive environment build-outs, technical integrations, and migration activities to support the transition from a legacy core system to a modern platform ecosystem

Define and refine project scope, success metrics, deliverables, and business outcomes aligned to strategic goals and regulatory requirements

Develop and manage integrated delivery plans including resource allocation, financials, schedules, risk frameworks, and quality controls

Provide strategic leadership across complex technical domains including integration patterns, networking, authentication, IAM, cloud infrastructure, and data migration

Act as a trusted advisor to executive stakeholders, ensuring alignment, sponsorship, and informed decision-making across the program lifecycle

Establish and enforce strong governance practices, including risk/issue management, change control, and compliance oversight





Lead cross-functional teams spanning engineering, infrastructure, security, vendors, and business stakeholders

Manage third-party vendors and platform partners, ensuring adherence to contractual deliverables, timelines, and service expectations

Deliver executive-level reporting on project health, risks, dependencies, and overall program status

Drive organizational change management strategies to enable successful adoption of new platforms, tools, and workflows

Partner with business and technical leaders to assess change impacts and deliver communications, training, and readiness plans

Ensure technology integration strategies align with enterprise architecture and security principles

Conduct post-implementation reviews to capture lessons learned and continuously improve delivery practices

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline; advanced degree is an asset

10+ years of progressive project management experience delivering complex, enterprise-scale technology initiatives

Proven experience leading large-scale platform transformations, system migrations, or core technology modernization programs

Strong technical project management background with demonstrated experience in infrastructure and security (infrasec) domains

Hands-on experience managing integration-heavy programs involving APIs, middleware, and enterprise data flows

Strong knowledge in key technical domains including networking, authentication, identity & access management (IAM), cloud infrastructure, and data migration

Demonstrated ability to deliver projects using both Waterfall and Agile methodologies in complex, regulated environments

PMP certification preferred; additional certifications such as SAFe, PRINCE2, or PMI-ACP are considered strong assets

Experience with organizational change management frameworks (e.g., Prosci) highly preferred





Expert knowledge of project governance, enterprise risk management, and compliance practices

Strong proficiency with Jira and Confluence

Experience operating within IT service management frameworks (e.g., ITIL) including change and incident management

Background in financial services or similarly regulated industries strongly preferred

Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with experience influencing senior and executive leadership

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking capabilities with a results-driven mindset

Top Skills Necessary

10+ years of enterprise project management experience delivering large-scale, technically complex transformation programs (e.g., platform migration, core system replacement)

Deep technical PM expertise in infrastructure and security domains, including IAM, cloud environments, authentication, and networking integrations

Proven leadership of integration-heavy programs, including API, middleware, and large-scale data migration across enterprise systems

Demonstrated experience managing multi-year transformation initiatives in regulated environments with strong governance and risk oversight

Executive stakeholder engagement and change leadership, including OCM strategy execution across enterprise-wide technology change
