Overview
We are looking for a Senior CNC Operator/Setter/programmer with the CNC/Precision Machinist Certificate with a minimum of 5 years of experience in setting, programming and operating CNC lathes/mills with Fanuc, Haas and Mitsubishi controllers to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be capable of:
Set up and operate computer controlled Lathe, Horizontal Mills, Vertical Mills and Vertical Lathe
Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts and tables
Solid knowledge of CNC programming (Mastercam) on Fanuc, Haas and Mitsubishi
Ability to set up CNC machines from scratch (tooling, work offsets, zeroing, fixture setup)
Tool path optimization for cycle time and tool life
Strong troubleshooting skills for machining issues, chatter, tool wear, and dimensional errors
Use,
maintain, repair and calibrate precision measuring instruments
Knowledge of precision measuring equipment and inspection reports ( CMM familiarity is an asset)
Document and report deviations from specifications and tolerances
Maintain inspection records and complete inspection reports
The General Machinist Certificate or related training certificates is a outstanding asset

Pay: $30.00-$37.00 per hour
