Overview
We are looking for experienced, performance-oriented, operators to join our team near Quesnel, BC.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for safe and effective operating and a well-rounded background that includes extensive experience in open pit excavation planning and execution using dozers, excavators, and articulated haul trucks.

Our small, high-performance, production placer mining environment requires individuals with a strong production-oriented work ethic, a collaborative and solution oriented mindset, and excellent communication skills.

Skills and Experience Desired
A strong operating history across a variety of equipment with proficiency in excavator and dozer work
Ability to plan and execute mass excavation from stripping through to reclamation in open pit environments
An excellent safety track record
A solution oriented mindset and excellent communication skills
A proven ability to find efficiencies and problem solve in a variety of environments
A history of meeting project deadlines and exceeding deliverables




Solid mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and perform basic repairs on equipment
Comfort working from a camp setting on long rotations

Job Responsibilities
Collaborate with site supervisors and other operators to coordinate excavations and material movement using dozers, excavators, and articulated haul trucks
Ensure safety protocols are followed
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Basic equipment maintenance including daily walk-around inspections

Pay: $35.00-$45.00 per hour

Experience:
Excavator operation: 3 years (preferred)
Loader operation: 3 years (preferred)
Rock Truck operation: 1 year (preferred)
Dozer operation: 3 years (preferred)
