Duties
Support the workshop team with vehicle repairs, maintenance, and assembly tasks using hand tools and power tools
Assist with heavy lifting and moving automotive parts or equipment safely and efficiently
Follow schematics and technical diagrams to aid in diagnostics and repairs
Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring all tools and materials are properly stored
Help with vehicle inspections, including checking fluid levels, tire pressures, and basic mechanical functions
Learn to use welding equipment and develop mechanical knowledge through on-the-job training
Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients about their vehicle needs and progress
Qualifications
Prior dealership or automotive repair experience is preferred but not required; a strong willingness to learn is essential
Basic mechanical knowledge or familiarity with hand tools and power tools
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work physically demanding tasks
Robust attention to detail when following schematics or assembly instructions
Excellent communication skills with a positive attitude towards customer service
Mechanical aptitude with an interest in automotive repair or maintenance processes
Ability to work as part of a team in a rapid-paced environment
Valid "G" license with clean abstract
