Warnaar Steel Tech is looking to hire an ironworker as soon as possible. Mostly local work with some travel that may be required.
Responsibilities
Erect and install structural and miscellaneous steel components.
Read and interpret detailed construction drawings, schematics, and blueprints to execute exact installations
Use hand tools and power tools for cutting, welding, grinding, and securing steel components
Follow safety protocols diligently during all operations and when working at heights
Experience
Proven construction experience with a focus on structural steel installation or related fields
Mechanical knowledge of tools, equipment operation, and construction techniques
Must have all relevant fall arrest and welding certificates.
Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately
Familiarity with heavy equipment operation including manlifts and forklifts, certifications are an asset
Knowledge of safety standards related to construction sites is essential
Wage to be determined based on experience.
Pay: $35.00-$45.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
