Carewest is seeking a passionate Therapy Aide for its Colonel Belcher location. This temporary full time role involves assisting residents with their daily living activities and participating in social and recreational events. Ideal candidates will bring a commitment to client-centered care and be part of an interdisciplinary team dedicated to improving quality of life.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADL)
• Instruct craft classes to promote engagement
• Support social events and group exercises
• Maintain a safe and comfortable environment
• Execute other related duties as required
Requirements:
• Grade 12 graduation is essential
• Current Basic Life Support CPR certification
• PCA or related leisure activities certification
• Preferred experience in a healthcare facility
• Geriatric experience is a valuable asset
