We are seeking a motivated Kitchen Assistant to join our dynamic team. As a Kitchen Assistant, you will support our culinary team by assisting with food preparation, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring smooth kitchen operations.
Responsibilities
Assist with food preparation, including chopping, peeling, and organizing ingredients to ensure efficient meal assembly
Support cooking processes by preparing basic dishes and following established recipes and standards
Maintain high standards of food handling and safety protocols to ensure hygiene and compliance with health regulations
Help with food service tasks such as plating dishes, setting up stations, and restocking supplies during service hours
Ensure the cleanliness of kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas through regular cleaning routines
Follow proper food safety procedures to prevent contamination and ensure quality control
Collaborate with team members to deliver timely and excellent service to customers
Skills
Previous food service experience or familiarity with restaurant operations is preferred
Knowledge of food handling, safety standards, and hygiene practices in the food industry
Ability to perform meal preparation and assist in cooking tasks efficiently
Strong serving skills with a focus on customer satisfaction during food delivery
Excellent attention to detail in food handling and cleanliness routines
