Journeyman & Apprentice Welders - Lloydminster, AB

Our client is a fabrication and manufacturing business focused on creating high-performance solutions for the oil and gas industry. Located in Lloydminster, AB, their shop is a fast-paced environment where skilled professionals collaborate to deliver quality craftsmanship and structural integrity in every project.

Our client is currently looking for Welders and Welding Assistants to join their team in Lloydminster, AB. Multiple positions are available, including Journeyperson/Senior Welders, Apprentice Welders, and Welder Helpers. This is a full-time role with a Monday to Friday schedule.

Responsibilities
Read and interpret welding symbols, prints, and engineering diagrams to execute projects accurately.
Operate welding equipment to join structural steel components in various positions.
Perform cutting, beveling, and shaping of metal components using industrial tools like brakes, shears, torches, and grinders.
Assemble welded frames, skids, and enclosures with precise alignment.
Construct, repair, and maintain custom industrial equipment, including gensets, datacenters, and field units.




Inspect welds to identify and correct defects before moving parts to the next production stage.

Qualifications
Journeyperson, registered Apprentice, or entry-level Helper with strong welding aptitude or shop experience.
Ability to read welding symbols, prints, and engineering layout diagrams (or ability to learn).
Able to perform repetitive tasks in a rapid-paced environment.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Valid safety certifications or ability to obtain them.
Experience in industrial welding, fabrication, or related fields is an asset.
