Support special needs students at Waterloo Region District School Board (WRDSB) as an LTO Educational Assistant. This position is ideal for candidates with relevant diplomas or direct experience.

Key Responsibilities: • Assist special needs students in classroom activities • Support teachers in planning and implementing educational strategies • Maintain a secure and supportive learning environment • Monitor student progress and report concerns • Engage with families and staff to promote successful learning plans

Requirements: • EA Diploma or related degree from an accredited institution • One year of experience supporting special needs children • Physical Demands test completion • Valid Behaviour Management Systems certification preferred • Autism Spectrum Disorder Training preferred
