The Data Platform Product Manager owns the strategy, roadmap, and lifecycle management of enterprise data platforms and data integration capabilities. This role drives the adoption, optimization, and governance of data platforms that supsdport analytics, reporting, operational insights, and advanced data initiatives. Working closely with Architecture, Engineering, Security, Finance, and Analytics teams, the position ensures platforms remain scalable, secure, reliable, and cost-effective while delivering business value.
Key Responsibilities Define and manage the enterprise data platform roadmap aligned with business and analytics objectives.
Own platform capabilities, backlog prioritization, feature planning, and lifecycle management.
Collaborate with Architecture and Engineering teams to establish standards, design patterns, and operational best practices.
Drive platform adoption through improved onboarding, documentation, and user enablement.
Ensure compliance with security, privacy, governance, and regulatory requirements.
Manage platform budgets, capacity planning, consumption forecasting, and cost optimization initiatives.
Establish KPIs and success metrics related to platform reliability, performance, adoption, and cost efficiency.
Monitor industry trends and recommend enhancements to platform architecture, tooling, and integration capabilities.
Coordinate with stakeholders to balance business priorities, technical requirements, risk, and value delivery.
Support additional initiatives as required

Data Integration: ETL/ELT, orchestration tools, CI/CD for data platforms
Data Management: Data modeling, metadata, observability, SLAs/SLOs
Security & Governance: Access management, encryption, auditability, data classification,



retention policies
Cloud Cost Management (FinOps) and capacity planning
Product Management Skills
Product roadmap development and backlog management
Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban)
Requirements gathering and prioritization
KPI definition, performance measurement, and continuous improvement
Business case development and value-based decision making
Soft Skills
Stakeholder management and communication
Strategic planning and problem-solving
Strong analytical mindset
Organizational and time management skills
Customer-focused approach with excellent documentation capabilities
Other Requirements Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, Analytics, or related field.
3-5+ years of Product Management/Product Owner experience in technology, data, analytics, or platform environments.
Relevant certifications such as Azure, Snowflake, Secure, Lean Six Sigma, or Product Management certifications are preferred.
