Responsibilities Sign, approve, and seal mechanical designs in accordance with the province engineering standards
Design complex mechanical systems.
Oversee engineering projects for Oil and Gaz systems while ensuring budgets, timelines, and quality standards are met
Prepare and validate drawings, specifications, shop drawings, and mechanical calculations.
Coordinate teams and ensure compliance of deliverables at every project stage
Resolve technical issues and recommend effective solutions
Participate in project design according to client needs and applicable codes
Draft tender documents and analyze contractor submissions
Train, mentor, and support junior engineers and technicians
Contribute to continuous improvement and technical development within VTEK
Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) licence in good standing
10 to 15 years of experience in mechanical engineering
Strong knowledge of relevant codes and design software (AutoCAD, Revit, SolidWorks)
Strong leadership, rigor, and ability to manage multiple priorities
