Join the NTPC team as a Journeyperson Powerline Technician based in Hay River, NT. This role includes construction and maintenance of transmission systems and ensuring safety in electrical operations.

As a key member of NTPC's Transmission Distribution Operations Division, you will perform vital work in maintaining and repairing electrical systems throughout the South Slave communities. Your experience will help restore power disturbances, construct distribution lines, and assist in training apprentice power linepersons while adhering to safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure compliance with NTPC safety regulations
• Restore power systems following disturbances and storm damage
• Construct and maintain transmission and distribution lines




• Perform hot stick work on high voltage lines
• Guide and train apprentices and casual workers

Requirements:
• Journeyperson Power Lineperson Certification required
• Minimum of five years relevant experience
• Class 3 driver's license with air brake endorsement
• Familiarity with electrical test procedures and equipment
• Must pass a criminal record check
