This position is located at Central Office in St. Paul and may have the flexibility to telework, work a hybrid schedule, or work in the office. The incumbent will be required to make a telework arrangement with their supervisor. The incumbent will be expected to work in the office as determined by policy and discussion with their supervisor. The position supports the State Road Construction (SRC) and Federal‑aid programs as part of the Capital Highway Program Financial Management Section. The role assists districts, the Office of Transportation System Management, and section leadership in managing project data in the Capital Highway Information Management Enterprise System (CHIMES), ensuring accuracy and compliance with state and federal requirements. Key responsibilities include leading the maintenance, monitoring, analysis, and updating of CHIMES project information, and generating reports on past and proposed construction programs to support efficient use of state and federal funds and to forecast future funding needs.

Minimum Qualifications
Three years of professional experience that demonstrates:

Experience analyzing financial documents for accuracy and compliance.

Experience producing project funding reports.

Experience monitoring and changing data or funding information for multi‑source projects in a project management system like CHIMES.

A bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting, business, or finance may substitute for one year of professional experience.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience reviewing and validating funding requests, determining correct funding codes, and preparing project funding information for federal authorization.
