Job Description:
Celystra Pharma is looking to hire field-based Key Account Managers (KAMs), supporting our Cardio-Metabolic or Rare Disease portfolios. Ideally, the candidate will be located in one of our main provinces: Quebec, Ontario, or British Columbia.
In this position, you will act as a business owner, building and executing strategic account plans, accelerating partnerships with healthcare professionals, programs, accounts, and health systems to drive the adoption of cutting‑edge, first or best‑in‑class therapies.

The opportunity to develop and execute strategic account plans to surpass commercial performance objectives
Collaboration with healthcare professionals, administrative leaders, and health system stakeholders to drive process implementation within programs, accounts, and networks
Exposure to national and regional planning through ongoing account analysis and contribution to opportunity or mitigation strategies

The ability to embrace and advocate for multichannel engagement and communication, ensuring customers receive timely and relevant information

Role Responsibilities:
Developing a deep understanding of local patient journeys and key decision-makers’ objectives/goals to identify opportunities for partnership aligned with commercial objectives
Building and growing a network of external healthcare and administrative stakeholders to support optimal recommendations throughout the patient journey
Effectively engaging external stakeholders in scientific discussions to ensure medications are prescribed to the right patients at the right time
Leveraging internal and external resources to develop and execute tailored customer value solutions




Embracing accountability and empowerment to make agile decisions while maintaining a broader view of overall objectives
Managing regional spend and budgets to ensure optimal impact and ROI
Providing ongoing account analysis and identifying market dynamics with potential business impact
Leading and delivering regular performance-to-objective reviews to commercial leadership
Extensive overnight travel required for meetings and external conferences across your region.
Qualifications & Skills:
Minimum 5+ years of experience in specialty sales or Key Account Management roles
Experience in cardio‑metabolic disease, endocrinology, cardiology, allergy‑immunology, or rare disease.
Strong understanding and experience in the execution of key account management principles
Excellent communication and engagement skills, both virtual and in-person
Ability to articulate complex content clearly to management, peers, and customers in individual and group settings
Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with natural curiosity and active listening ability
Agility to work successfully in a dynamic, complex, and changing environment
Self-motivated, entrepreneurial, and collaborative, with strong cross-functional communication skills
Experience with budget ownership and ROI analysis
Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and ability to learn new programs quickly
Valid driver’s license and ability to travel as required
English-speaking (bilingual French & English an asset)
