The Maintenance Lead

Hand role at Barminco is ideal for skilled tradespeople with a robust background in underground mining equipment. You will mentor mechanics, conduct quality control inspections, and lead safety initiatives in a FIFO rotation of 14 days on and 14 days off. Collaborate effectively with the Maintenance Foreperson to ensure high-quality maintenance solutions. Key Responsibilities:

- Mentor and direct crew on maintenance best practices
- Maximize mining productivity and reduce equipment downtime




- Conduct quality control inspections before equipment departure
- Ensure workshop tooling is safe and serviceable
- Drive compliance with safety procedures and inspect the workplace Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Heavy-Duty Equipment Technician (421A) certification
- Minimum 2 years in Lead Hand or supervisory role
- Strong experience with Sandvik, Normet, and Caterpillar
