REED is partnered with growing company in the logistics sector in the appointment of a new Management Accountant to join their team.

Day-to-day of the role:
Manage Core Finance Activities
Take full responsibility for management accounts, journals, reconciliations and period-end reporting, ensuring accuracy and timeliness at every stage.
Maintain Financial Integrity
Oversee intercompany reconciliations, resolve balance sheet discrepancies and uphold clear, auditable records across a complex group structure.
Implement new processes
Continuously seek smarter,
more efficient ways of working, using automation and process improvements to drive operational effectiveness.
Provide Strategic Insight
Use your understanding of the cold storage and logistics industry to deliver meaningful analysis and support informed decision-making.
Build Strong Partnerships
Collaborate with finance leaders and stakeholders across the group to align processes, enhance reporting and support business growth.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Qualified Accountant (ACCA, ACA or CIMA) with 2 + of relevant experience in finance or accounting
Comfortable with ERP systems and confident in using Excel.
Hands-on approach with a readiness to take on more responsibilities and make a significant impact.
