Join the Town of Oakville as a Parks Maintenance Labourer in a temporary full-time role. Your work will involve general maintenance, assisting with harbours, and ensuring parks are well-kept.

This position offers up to three temporary contract opportunities for approximately two months. Ideal candidates should have previous experience in parks maintenance and related equipment. Work involves hands-on tasks such as collecting brush and litter, preparing grounds, and maintaining vehicle cleanliness.

Key Responsibilities:
• Assist with boat lifting operations in harbours
• Conduct litter pick-up and facility checks in parks
• Rake and collect debris from diverse locations
• Prepare grounds through digging, raking, and laying sod
• Maintain equipment and report any defects

Requirements:
• Minimum Grade 12 education or equivalent experience
• Valid Ontario Driver's License Class G minimum
• Understanding of Highway Traffic and Occupational Health Acts
• Mechanical aptitude and effective communication skills
• Minimum 1 year's equipment experience preferred
