In this pivotal position, you will assist the Director of Care and Directors of Resident Experience in understanding government policies impacting resident care. Your leadership will foster a culture of professionalism and teamwork while ensuring compliance with Care Plans. Educating staff about legislative practices is a core responsibility to improve care quality and resident outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Advocate Wing Kei's mission and core values daily
• Supervise and manage performance of nursing staff
• Foster interdisciplinary collaboration for optimal care
• Lead initiatives to improve resident/client safety
• Organize education sessions for the Care team
Requirements:
• Registered Nurse with CARNA certification
• Experience in leadership roles in Long Term Care
• Annual MDS Competency Certification
• Robust communication skills, multilingual an asset
• Detail-oriented and effective in managing information
